Spring Fishing on the Bighorn

Beautiful weather and fishing on the Bighorn River in Thermopolis with Rob from Jackson. We caught rainbows and cutt-bows on sow bugs and midges in the morning and early afternoon then switched to streamers in the afternoon and evening and got a handful of nice browns on the streamer. Spring fishing in Thermopolis is so fun. The weather is getting nice and feeling like spring. Daylight savings time has kicked in and the midges and blue winged olive mayflies start hatching. The river is flowing at roughly 1,000 CFS and crystal clear which is ideal for this time of year. We also don’t have so many weed beds to deal with now. Call or message me at (307) 463-1143 to set up your guided float trip with me on the Bighorn River in Thermopolis, Wyoming.
